Notes et avis

Tom is a good actor, although he is shorter than Lee Child's Reacher. If this film followed 'One Shot' a lot more closely it would easily hit 5*'s. Otherwise it is a good action movie, if you haven't read the book before hand.

This is a very good film indeed. I love the way Tom Cruise acted throughout this film. He was sharp witty and humorousness and left me thinking about Clint Eastwood in Dirty Harry etc. as Tom Cruise came close to resembling his characteristics. Some of the other scenes I thought came close to a good Jason Bourne film as this had many of aspects of that too IMO. This is a great film and can't wait to see if they do a 3rd.

A good story but as a huge fan of the books I can't get over the fact that Tom Cruise doesn't resemble in any way the physical characteristics of Jack Reacher which is so essential to the books. Tom Cruise is a great actor but even he can't make himself into the giant that is Jack Reacher. I feel that they sold out in this film by giving it to a top named actor. They would have been better off giving it to an unknown actor who matched the physical size of Jack Reacher.
