It takes a tremendous amount of confidence and charisma to take your time with a joke. His pacing is deliberate, his writing is thoughtful and thought-provoking. Easily among the great standup bits of all time. If his star continues to rise, they’re going to put this in whatever Hall Of Fame Raw, Delirious, Bring the Pain, etc. are sitting in.

This was more like Jerrod Carmichael's therapy session than stand up comedy. I didn't laugh once; a chuckle maybe but it was all about him and boring.I'm sorry I paid for that.

Best one this decade.
