Haven't seen it but just looking at the title can see untruth from the get go. First off "jesus" was not his name. Wisemen and gifts were not there when he was born that was around a year later. He was not born in december it was more around September/October. Sunday is not the Sabbath day, saturday is. Your not suppose to whorship him your supposed to whorship the havenly father. Its in the bible. Not supposed to celebrate christmas. Has nothing to do with him or his birthday.

To the Wayclst extremists its your loss for not supporting this cause of his skin color btw yes he was whlte, many pastors proven this. Ruddy = having a healthy reddish color, a ruddy complexion ie rosy red blush as theIrish are ruddy. Davidwas a relative ofJesus and look in Revelation1 asJesus had whitehead and white hair... Many proven him and majority back then that were there were. Maybe your all just obsessively envious of us and jealous that you cant see facts. MlxlngUP was wrong to!

I'd like to review two things. Firstly, the movie: It depicts several things from the Gospel of Luke very well and focuses on the miracles and teachings very well. Jesus suffered more than was visually represented, but I feel that telling the truth about all that pain would be a bit too much for new believers to take in, esp. for the 1970's. I'd like to applaud the inclusion of the Sinners Prayer at the end too. The second thing I'd like to review is Elijah Davis' comment, these reviews are meant to be from those who've watched the show and specifically want to comment on it. ED's 'review' of the movie begins with "Haven't seen it..." He then goes on to get fussy about the difference between the names "Jesus" and "Yeshua" (His Hebrew name). This distinction is good to know, but English is spoken by sooo many more people than Hebrew is and our Lord is the first person that comes to mind when Jesus is read or spoken, which is the whole purpose of a name. ED then whines a lot about how religion is different from secular views of things. "Saturday is the Saabath, not Sunday." (ED, they didn't use the modern calendar in the time this film was made) "You should worship the Father, not Jesus." (Hey ED, Jesus said "...for I and my father are one and the same.") "Wisemen and gifts were not there when he was born." (Guess what ED, if you'd actually watched the show like it's intended for you to have, you'd notice The Jesus Film _never_ depicts the wisemen. The movie actually agrees with you on that point and you gave it only 2 stars?) If you're going to review anything, this movie, a restaurant, anything: Please review that thing alone. (Also, please forgive me for violating my own suggestion.)
