Copies predator badly Visual effects are awful, particularly in regard to the throwing stars used by the alien, as well as random cgi dust effects used whenever an impact is made. Plot makes little sense, alien comes every 6 years (not every 1000 or 100, every 6 years) and yet no one knows. Stupid memory loss plot that gives one actor the excuse to look blank faced the whole movie Acting overall is poor. Its actually a blessing when nic cage acts like nic cage.

Not often that I can be bothered to write reviews, this one has to be done to save you all! I have rinsed through all action martial arts films on netflix prime and other services, I love them, good ones, poor ones with good fights, even the so bad they are good ones. This, this is time taken from your life you will never regain do not bother, do not bother putting on in the background whilst doing something else it will still hurt. I like all the cast in it, have watched them all in good films, its just so so bad. There's jumps in time, jumps in plot, poor continuity in fights (look i dont mid 80's style slice same punch into fight multiple time during edit) but it was jarring and there was no flow to the choreography jumbled mess of a film, nothing to raise it up (Eddie Steeples (new to me) might have with more screen time, the only bits that made me smile) Argh that was a rant, apologize to cast and crew I don't know what happened and I am sorry it didn't deliver for me

Switch off even though I've not watched it all. I wouldn't even watch this if it was free . (1 star too many) must be a low point for cage. I would say he did it for the money but he probably rich enough just probably bored with nothing else to do.
