While I so much wanted to enjoy this epic space romp... it's a case of too much CGI, to little story. Even though the source martial on which it is based is rich, vivid and perhaps even masterful, the movie falls flat. It's lands like a third-rate Saturday morning cartoon, and just can't seem to take flight after that, something the hero can't seem to stop doing. However, the movie is lovely to look at, but ultimately forgettable.

Movies are for people to watch and enjoy not to hear from wannabe Writers and Producers that have nothing better to do than criticize works from others. It is an art form, you don't have to like it.
