I love seeing more of Continental culture and mythology. I hope to see more if there is a third chapter. The catalyst in this film is certainly a good one, but isn't explored in much depth, and doesn't offer much story. Too much of the movie is just the same old chum machine. However, it's hard not to enjoy the John Wick style, and there are certainly moments in the movie that are worth highlighting. The ending of the movie seems like it was intended to be a cliffhanger, but I sense it will instead make it more challenging to write a third chapter and ultimately doom the John Wick saga. I give the movie a very soft 4 stars.

The point of John Wick is to watch wicked action scenes. It's meant to be a violent, crazy movie. Plot is OK. There is some amazing cinematography and the final fight scene is perfect. Third one should be nuts.
