Mickey Rourke stars as John Sedley in this high-energy movie, directed by Walter Hill. Johnny was born severely deformed and makes his living as a small-time criminal. There, thanks to a sympathetic surgeon, he receives a new face. Finally John is released on parole. Stylish early Mickey Rourke film made just before his slump. Directed by Walter Hill. Has a powerful sub text about acceptance and the difficulty in changing as a person. I loved it.
