Writer director Taika Waititi, brings his signature style of humor and pathos to his latest film, JOJO RABBIT, a World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother is hiding a young girl in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler, Jojo must confront his naive patriotism.

The comedic timing of this film wonderfully co-exists with the telling of serious story which has been brilliantly executed by Taika, cast and crew. JoJo Rabbit will leave you feeling a full range of emotions and is quite the journey. The film is completely respectful of past events and aims its satire at ridiculousness that was the Nazi regime and, of course, Adolf Hitler. Please give this movie a chance: it is smart, charming & one of the better films I have personally seen in a long time.

This was a wonderful story, brilliantly executed, with flair, colour and the perfectly placed comedy for a dark and evil time. Taika nails it again, he can do no wrong... except for that green lantern thing.

Refreshingly different from all the main stream stuff. Its a bit strange at first but as you start to understand the humor it gets to be quite entertaining. If your sick of superhero movies and remakes give it a go.
