Jagdish Tyagi - aka Jolly (Arshad Warsi) is a small-time lawyer from Meerut, who dreams to make it big in the legal world. To pursue his dream, he travels to Delhi and sets up a shop in the Delhi Court. One day he files a PIL against an important hit and run case, involving a scion of an affluent family. In doing so, he locks horns with the famous, shrewd-as-a-jackal lawyer, Tejinder Rajpal (Boman Irani). Now Tejinder will twist and turn every law in the book to dismiss the petition, while Jolly will realize that this case will take more from him than he imagined. Witnessing all this is the amused judge Tripathi (Saurabh Shukla), rotund and seemingly a silent observer to the proceedings, but carrying a wisdom deep inside. Jolly LLB is laugh-out-loud social satire, with a heart!

Seems like nowadays only low budget films are worth watching. The movie has some very good acting by everyone and no vulgar scenes and no nonpoint songs.

One of the best movies I watched this year. Skip all the songs, that's the only thing ruining the movie - completely out of context and just lame overall.
