The new journey begins when young adventurer Sean (Josh Hutcherson) receives a coded distress signal from a mysterious island where no island should exist—a place of strange life forms, mountains of gold, deadly volcanoes, and more than one astonishing secret. A masterpiece. Forget water turrets, forget ultra and sub-sonic crowd control, forget microwave manipulation of body temperature. Want someone to move, put this on a screen. If thine eye offend thee pluck it out. Seriously, give me back my eyes.

This is an awesome movie in 3D it feels like you are actually there some bits are quite scary I went to see it at the view cimema in doncaster part of those kids weekend things and it was only about £2.75 each for a 3D film how good is that I would deffontly recommend this to a family with kids aged 5-13 as part as the kids weekend thing if you want to see it I would recomed you see it in 3D or don't watch it at all.

Not to be to patronising but I think most 5 star reviews are from very young people because if your over 16 you would think this movie stinks it had some nice parts to it but could have been so much better 2 stars for the plot no bad guys makes a change!
