If you have ever watched the amazing quantity of sales QVC can pour out, this movie makes sense. Sales and patent beasts exist in the real world and this true story shows the real challenge of Joy to keep the product and company alive. The negative reviews miss the real deep challenge and reality that this movie brings to life. It is well created and acted out. Joys strength and courage to not give in to the beasts in the business is shown at its best.

Wow! I almost missed a great film due to misleading reviews here. This is an American classic. It has an "It's a Wonderful Life" feel to it, with a little Deer Hunter edge - but doesn't get too dark and delivers in the end. The cast, direction, and production are top notch. Fortunately the script is worthy. Truth is stranger than fiction, in this case - more entertaining too - skip Star Wars and the other crap on demand and rent this winner.

Awesome movie.... full of so many good lessons for life love and business...take charge of your own life and never never never quit, and try to never burn bridges and do your best to bless others and receive what blessings they have for you, even if they come in difficult passages (obviously set limits with abuse!)
