Winter 1968: Showbiz legend Judy Garland (Renée Zellweger) arrives in Swinging London to perform in a sell-out run at the Talk of the Town, 30 years after she shot to stardom in The Wizard of Oz. After working for 45 of her 47 years, she is exhausted – haunted by memories of a childhood lost to Hollywood and gripped by a desire to be back home with her kids. Will she have the strength to go on? Featuring some of her best-known songs, Judy celebrates the voice, the capacity for love, and the sheer pizzazz of "the world's greatest entertainer."

Judie, Judie, Judie. Looks like her brain was over the rainbow as well. Like an Armani business suit in a pawn shop, used up and those stains on the sleeve are suspicious ....

Another chance where Renee shows her talents in portraying Judy. The show is well written and directed and contributions from all the actors goes to add to a film that is filled with sadness and so much love for a legend who was so lost in her final years, which does make you wonder, if how true, where were her friends? It shows how 'back in the day' child stars were used and abused for their talents to turn a buck without realising or caring the impact they had for the rest of that persons' life. It would be great for an Oscar, she portrayed Judy so well, never disappoints.

I thought it would show her life from the Wizard of Oz through to death but it didn't. It only showed the latter part of her life.
