Robin Williams stars as Alan Parrish, who, after 25 years, is finally freed from the spell of an ancient magical board game named JUMANJI. The two children who freed him, however, have unleashed a group of wild and exotic creatures from the game, forcing the long-lost Alan to save his hometown from destruction.

(This mini-review may appear elsewhere under "Amy McLean" or "Amy McLean - Super Ink Arts") I remember being completely terrified of Jumanji when I was a child, but as an adult? I feel no fear, and only see the beauty of this masterpiece. Both being a great fan of the amazing Robin Williams and having seen the second Jumanji film recently, I felt compelled to revisit the original film to see if it was still as fabulous as I remembered it to be from a few years ago. I was not disappointed! Although several decades old now, Jumanji ages remarkably well, with an incredibly fun story about a magical boardgame that brings the jungle to a family home. Of course, Robin Williams is utterly incredible, and I dare say that this is one of his most entertaining performances. If you haven't seen Jumanji, then I cannot recommend enough that you postpone whatever you planned to do with the rest of your day and watch the beautiful movie instead.

it was awesome especially the storyline.it also made me scream bc of my phobias and I haven't scream when watching a movie but it brought back memories...so yea (๑¯ω¯๑)

A little dated now and the special effects a bit ropey, but still great entertainment.
