From the streets of Chicago to far flung galaxies whirling through space, JUPITER ASCENDING is a science fiction epic adventure that follows the downtrodden Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis -- Black Swan), who's destined for greatness. When a genetically engineered ex-military hunter Caine (Channing Tatum -- Magic Mike) tracks her down, she starts to glimpse the fate waiting for her all along -- her genetic signature marking her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos. Lilly & Lana Wachowski (The Matrix films, Cloud Atlas) take us on another visionary journey into the unknown. Way too long, confusing plot and badly casted. Eddie Redmayne was simply not believable in his role, it felt totally forced. He does not do well in dark and evil roles. And Mila Kunis as the lead makes me raise an eyebrow. And Channing Tatum in those horrible elf ears and eyeliner: all the Wachowski talent in the world could not save this movie, which is surprising. Don't waste your time watching this film.

Very confusing plotline, but the costumes and art direction are exquisite and Sean Bean doesn't die (for a nice change of pace).

Not as good as I thought it was going to be but was still an ok movie.
