Über diesen Film

Director Steven Spielberg takes us back to the scene of Jurassic Park in The Lost World, the blockbuster sequel with even more dinosaurs, more action and more breathtaking visual effects than its record-breaking predecessor. The Lost World remains among the most successful films of all time and features an all-star cast including Jeff Goldblum, Julianne Morre and Pete Postlethwaite. It has been four years since the disaster at Jurassic Park and two groups are in a race against time that will determine the fate of the remote island's prehistoric inhabitants.

to those of you comparing the jurassic park movies to the books, keep in mind spielberg completely change crichtons plot to make it entertaining for everybody. the lost world was a beautiful and exciting film and i found it awesome that it featured not one, not two, but THREE tyrannosaurs. not to mention jeff goldblum nailed his role. 👌

It's underrated, in my opinion. It's effects are as good as the original, it has an interesting storyline, and a few amusing scenes (like the t-rex making a dribbling motion when he walks by a basketball hoop, lol). I only rate it four stars because the story was about Dr. Malcolm and he isn't my favorite, however, i do like him better in this one than I did the first, but that's not saying a whole lot.

Jurassic Park TLW has got to be one of the most underrated movies of all time. The CGI, acting and even plot are pretty good. It's not nearly as bad as people say it is, infact it's a great movie. Maybe not as good as the first but certainly a worthy sequel.
