The girl with the leg brace. That's how people have seen Susan Berlanger all her life. But while on a ski trip in the French Alps, she conceals her crippled leg in a cast. Now, people won't see her as someone to be pitied. Or avoided. Or coddled.

Kristy McNichol is Susan in a thoughtful, often funny and rapturously scenic (filmed in part in France's mountainous Haute-Savoie region) tale of love's liberating power and of Susan's coming to terms with issues of self-esteem, smartly written by Allan Burns (A Little Romance) and directed by Edouard Molinaro (La Cage aux Folles). "There isn't a person in the world who isn't hiding something," a friend counsels Susan. Once she understands that, Susan will know there's really nothing to hide.

It was on Tv not long ago & Luv her and miss watching her movies,shows. The movie was about a gal whos a musican a Flute player who wears a leg brace due to polio & just wants to fit in like others so she has a cast put on & looses the leg brace to fit in on her Vac,so not the reg active tomboy parts w her but miss her so watched it & if watch close u can see her nude for Sec's but shes cute.

Haven't been able to watch movie keep getting an error message. Tried trouble shooting also I only have ten more days before it expires and not able too see. Would like a refund please!

What can I say,loved it as a teenager and still do.
