Propulsé par sa foi renouvelée en l’humanité et inspiré par le geste altruiste de Superman, Bruce Wayne fait appel à sa nouvelle alliée Diana Prince afin d’affronter un ennemi encore plus redoutable. Ensemble, Batman et Wonder Woman travaillent rapidement pour mobiliser une équipe de métahumains qui se soulèvera contre cette nouvelle menace. Mais malgré la création de cette ligue de héros sans précédent qui compte Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg et The Flash dans ses rangs, il pourrait bien être trop tard pour sauver la planète d’un assaut aux proportions catastrophiques.

Notes et avis

I thought that Flash was miscast. Flash is goofy and obnoxious, however, the actor made him awkward, angsty, and sarcastic. I could tell that the actor was trying to be funny (good effort), but, his comedic timing is off: like he has to find it in a different galaxy, off. The film spent too much time introducing and reintroducing the characters. 40 minutes into the movie and the plot hasn't progressed because we're still in the middle of an origin story. The main villain was forgettable.

Do NOT buy this movie. It is dreadful and became the inspiration for releasing the vastly superior Snyder Cut now available on HBO max or Crave in Canada. As a long time DC comic fan and collector I looked forward to this movie for decades. This movie was so awful I actually turned to my family in the theatre back in 2017 and apologized to them for having brought them to see this disaster. For most that don’t know, a tragic event occurred in Zack Snyder’s life that forced him to dropout of the production. Joss Wheaton then took the helm and turned a potential masterpiece into a complete disarray. The Zachary Snyder cut is amazing and comparing that version to this would be like comparing a high end Lamborghini to a 1970s Ford Pinto. See the Snyder cut and do NOT purchase this version!

To be completely & brutally honest, this was Whedon's version of the JL NOT Snyder's. I'm sooo glad that I waited long enuff for the Snyder Cut to finally come out on dvd/blu-ray, that I immediately bought it. I honestly believe that Whedon purposely railroaded Snyder's movie and I stand by my opinion.
