Die Justice League gilt seit jeher als die erste und letzte Front der Erde, jedoch wird mit der Ankunft von Darkseid und dem Schrecken des darauffolgenden Krieges alles auf den Kopf gestellt. Der Justice League läuft die Zeit davon, sodass sie alle Mitglieder und deren Kräfte sammeln muss. Aber selbst die mächtigsten Superhelden, darunter auch Neuzugang John Constantine, erscheinen im Angesicht von Darkseids Armee machtlos. Die packendste Schlacht des DC-Universums hat begonnen, in der das nackte Überleben als Triumph zählt.

Bewertungen und Rezensionen

Mostly really liked, one significant issue that I have w/ DC/Marvel in general which is a SPOILER SO DO NOT READ FURTHER IF YOU'RE AVOIDING SPOILERS. The continuous use of time travel (whatever, "flash point") to reset an entire story line. It feels lazy, and also like a waste of everyone's time to write the story in the first place. If you're building a universe, and you want to have progress within it, why would you spend 90 mins creating a potentially cool new universe w/ cyber heroes, and then wipe the entire thing off the map? Is it fan service? Fear that it won't be as popular? I will state right now; I'm tired of the current set of heroes. Cyber Martian Man Hunter/other cyber heroes were DOPE and there's TONS of dramatic/ character building stuff to explore; the crushing guilt at what they've done, the difficulty they face living with their transformations, potential loss of control to their cyber-halves. Beyond that, there could have been lots of creative solutions at the end of this movie, and there wasn't even an effort made to make that happen. Still giving 4 stars cuz I mostly liked but, damn DC, figure out a new trick. Or just like, hire better writers.

The story diverges from the comics, so don't expect it to be the same; it does take a few ideas, but it is a different story. By itself, without comparing, its a really good movie, sets things up for a good ending and a new beginning. It is a bit intense for an animate movie, so don't expect to see it with your kids until they're older.

animated movies, or series like this should not be rated r. the earlier ones were kid friendly and now you want to end it with this immoral garbage. murder everyone then time heist. It's shameful how far down we have come that we allow the entertainment industry to run wild with every kind of immorality vile language, and use of demonic entities. we as a community should be trying to enable our next generation to have morals and values that ground them and improve them. What one generation tolerates, the next embraces.
