Featuring the voice talents of Nathan Fillion and Tim Daly, Justice League: Doom is based on Mark Waid's much-heralded JLA: Tower of Babel. When Vandal Savage discovers Batman's contingency plan to defeat the Justice League should any of them go rogue, he steals it and learns the secret weakness of each superhero. Savage then forms his own army of supervillains and begins taking out the Justice League one by one. His ultimate plan is to exterminate the greater part of the human population and start a new civilization. With the priceless knowledge of how to defeat the Justice League, Bane exhumes Batman's parents, exploiting the hero's emotions to distract him long enough to gain the upper hand. Cheetah attacks Wonder Woman, implanting microscopic machines that take control of her visual and auditory senses, forcing her to fight everyone she encounters.

My problem with Justice League: Doom is that I didn't feel any tension while watching this film. One reason why I say that it isn't interesting is that whenever the Justice League and the Legion of Doom fight each other, each member of each team fights one on one with their arch nemesis. This happened in both acts. I wished to see one antagonist conflict with a protagonist that isn't their nemesis. Watch "Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths" instead of this. The stakes are higher and more powerful.

Are we watching the same movie or has the level intelligence plummeted in the United States? First of all, a man (Superman) that claims he can move the Earth or travel 92,955,887 miles to the sun in a minute shouldn't have any problems with a 2-ton wall. As a matter of fact, he should be able to withstand anything on planet Earth as if it were a breeze. Yet, there's a difference in the power level in the beginning of the film and towards the end when suddenly these super heroes display God-like abilities. If Bane can punch through several inches of concrete, Batman, a normal human being, should be visibly dead in one punch too the head. Telling a fairytale is one thing, but any story riddled with multiple inconsistencies makes it difficult to suspend belief.

For most of this movie I felt like it wasn't going to ever end. I felt that there were alot of gaps left unexplained, i don't read the comics and i didn't watch the tv show so some of these villains that apparently aren't even on the B list of villains. I am sure comic readers loved the fact that the other characters were getting screen time and they are right that is awesome just wasn't done right. the art was very well done.
