Confronted with adversity, the rest of the unit does what they do best; they do not give in. Setting in motion a desperate and determined rescue mission, where time is against them if they are going to survive the aftermath of this deadly mine strike. Superbly filmed and acted. So much more than the usual American war film we are used to. No overblown story line to make it more "attractive" to audiences. Tense, sad, and surprisingly funny, all at the same time. Kajaki left me emotionally shattered and full of respect for all of the armed forces. God bless 'em all.

Well acted and over all brilliant. Very tense throughout and it does make you think about the sacrifices made, very brave men. I'd watch it again. Overall one of the best war films I've seen in a while that is based on a true story, just absolutely gripping, this deserves more than 5 stars.

Fantastic movie that focuses on real heroism rather than mowing enemies down. The acting is top notch, the script well written and the atmosphere really drags you into the atrocious situation faced by these brave men. If you get British humour, it adds a sprinkle of fun too!
