Kapoor and Sons since 1921 is a dramedy that sure knows how to put the fun in "dysfunction". Rahul and Arjun, two estranged brothers are forced to return to their childhood home when their 90 year old Grandpa gets a heart attack. While living under one roof, family secrets unravel and misunderstandings are on the verge of turning into tragedy. A family who hides a bunch of secrets..issue of extra marital affairs, cheatings and questions on sexuality are the major part of this movie..while it also showcases a mother-son relation, brolove between two brothers and ofcourse the I-will-die now grandfather..go watch it if you love family melodramas.

not a typical Bollywood movie but, it was really not that great. The story was, just not good enough. acting sometimes looked forced. A tragic ending would have fared better.

Liked it. Although, was disappointed with the role of women portrayed in the story. Despite stalwarts like Ratna Pathak Shah, and energing powerhouse, Alia Bhatt, their roles lacked that character arc. Overall, a good one time watch. Light fun with modern family take.
