Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, a.k.a. the hugely popular comedy duo Key & Peele, star as Clarence and Rell, two cousins who live in the city but are far from streetwise. When Rell’s beloved kitten, Keanu, is catnapped, the hopelessly straight-laced pair must impersonate ruthless killers in order to infiltrate a street gang and retrieve the purloined feline. But the incredibly adorable kitten becomes so coveted that the fight over his custody creates a gang war, forcing our two unwitting heroes to take the law into their own hands.

Funny movie. How are people complaining about plot holes in a movie that involves 2 dudes risking their lives to get a magic kitten back. Great baked, but still funny sober. Good buddy comedy a la Harold and Kumar and the like. It's a different kind of comedy from their show; no satire to be found here, just turn your brain off and enjoy..

I love these guys. The funniest thing about this movie is how unblack they are while trying to pose as gangsters. It had some moments. Maybe two. But this movie was a serious letdown. Don't rent this. Despite it sucking I still have hopes for Key and Peele and they should try again. They have chemistry and you can tell they love working together. The voice cameo for the cat might have the highlight..and it wasn't that awesome.

I love Key and Peele, but this movie has barely, if any, laughable moments. I was really looking forward to a good laugh, like something I would see from their sketch comedy but this certainly wasn't it. If you're expecting this to be anything like their sketches I'd suggest you just go back and watch a season of Key and Peele.
