Inspired by his love of comic books, high school student Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson) decides to transform himself into a masked crime fighter -a decision that eventually thrusts the teenager into Internet stardom. Soon, Dave's antics inspire a wave of would-be heroes to don costumes and live out their superhero fantasies. Nicolas Cage, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Chloe Moretz also star in this comic book adaptation from director Matthew Vaughn.

Kick Ass nothin': HIT GIRL ALL THE WAY BABY! Kid stole the show. If i ever had a daughter (not that i ever will) I'd want her to be just like HG. In fact, the rest of you need to get with the program and ensure that your girls can indeed kick ass. But you won't, cuz you all suck at parenting. Where was i? Movie: Decent. Well, gross, and I had to look away a few times and hope that the actress who plays Hit Girl hasn't been psychologically damaged by the script, but yeah; interesting premise and happy-ish ending and did i mention that Hit Girl was OUTSTANDING? Not even John Wick would stand a chance. OMGOSH THEY SHOULD TOTALLY TEAM UP FOR JW3...

The suspension of disbelief is required when regular people try to act like superheroes. Like a little girl is never going to be able to physically go toe to toe with grown adult men. That being said a dark and funny ultra voilent take on the costume vigilante genre.

Couldn't have been better, unfortunately that meant the sequel had an impossible task, maybe the final movie gets closer to the first one.
