Before the Golden age of MCU there was Kick-Ass. i agree the 2nd one is not as good as the original one but the character development done here is amazing and that is what makes this one really moving. The narration by Dave is really felt like a normal high school guy who really wanted to make a difference in the society Kick-Ass broke the Fourth wall even before the Deadpool if we are talking about the movies. These are the Movies which are categorized under Comicbook/Superheroes movies yet very grounded in terms of story and scale. everything is balanced the humour,action,drama and the score too. tl;dr it's a freaking great Movie and a great successor to the previous instalment.

People say this movie lacks the charm the forst one had. I think it's good enough because of Jim Carrey !

If u r getting bored and u want a new age of super heroes watch this movie and the super villain the mother f***** is very humorous
