Following the young men and their coach, the movie explores the Bees' historical role within the local African-American community. More than just a high school sports team, the Bees are a symbol of hope – particularly to those struggling to survive racial discrimination, gentrification and absurd income inequality in the wealthiest region in America: The Hamptons.
