I've been hearing about this for forty years. I think it's B.S. Hoffa was killed by the government, because he could and did advance American workers, and the rights of working class people, through the immense wealth of union manpower and money... The mob wouldn't have killed him, because the loans Hoffa made to the mob, advanced their power, also. Hoffa was a serious threat to the established, monied interests.
