Yea.. the plot and the trailer and all are nothing to really indicate how truly disturbing and offensive this movie is. I saw the trailer and thought "Oh looks a little disturbing" It's more than that. You know how in Mother they use like everything they can think of to stress you and to keep you stressed and continuously annoyed etc. Its alot like that. Except - I thought that Mother crossed the line a few times, like with the baby scene. This movie crosses the line so many times in so many ways, it is not at all funny. It just makes you wonder... Is this entertainment? Why would someone think this is entertainment. How could you be a proud actor or director or whatever - participating in a ridiculously senselessly disturbing movie like this. And they have child actors in it to boot? Like - congratulations hollywood - you have helped to completely obscure all lines between wrong and right -_- Don't watch it - don't give these disturbed and imoral people your money. It will only encourage them to do more immoral things.

I'm not gonna lie when I say that The Killing of a Sacred Deer is possibly the most messed up and disturbing film I've seen in 2017, but is that exactly a bad thing? In my case, not exactly. While this movie is indeed messed up, it's also ominously beautiful, thanks in no small part to Yorgos Lanthimos' direction and the immaculate cinematography. Collin Farrell and Nicole Kidman are excellent as usual, but don't let them distract you from the real standout of the film, Barry Keoghan. He is an absolute revelation in this film as a very psychologically damaged young man, and he really sells it. I'm not entirely sure if I can recommend this movie to a lot of people, since it is so messed up, but if you're up to a film that will make you feel uncomfortable for two hours and you're okay with not having definitive answers, by all means, check this one out.

Possibly the most boring and uneventful movie I've ever seen. Emotionless acting, too many plot holes to count, and a pointless theme that you don't care about. It falls flat for trying to be creepy by having nothing compelling happen at all.
