While not a perfect movie, I enjoyed the alternative take on the Arthurian legend. Yes, there were some curious things (doors opening/closing on their own when they previously needed two horses and four men to do the task), but as a simple sword & sandals action movie with a bit of legend mixed in, it's worth watching if you're in the mood.

I have to admit, this is one of my guilty pleasures. I absolutely love this movie. If I saw it today, I might not feel the same way, but I've seen this movie 15+ times and still enjoy watching it. Love the perception of the Arthurian legend mixed with some history, the characters, over the top action scenes.

One of the greatest King Arthur movies of all time. In order to understand King Arthur, you have to also know history. Prior to the rise of knights and kings, the Roman Empire ruled the know world. King Arthur's place in history sits between the fall of Rome and the rising of knights. After the Roman Empire fell, Europe slipped into a dark age. King Arthur is an incredible movie, which shows the transition from Empire to Kingdoms.
