An emotional powerhouse about a king, who, upset with his sons, sets off a rivalry between his three daughters for his kingdom. The eldest two try to out do each other with their gratuitous praise and simulated fauning affection; however the third daughter refuses to be part of their insincerity. The king filled with his pumped up ego, interprets her actions as disloyal and most unrespectful and sets her aside.
