In my opinion this was a massive step down from the first one. To it's credit it has SOME great moments and it has a strong start but it goes downhill fast. After a while it really starts to drag, not even the charismatic actors could save this movie. Also I feel like with the first one I could excuse some of the ridiculousness of the plot because I was having a good time, I didn't feel like that with this movie. On top of that the CGI is really disorienting. It took so much effort to get through this movie and I don't think I'll ever feel the need to rewatch it.

Utter drivel and (along with Deadpool) a sad indictment of the way the film business is moving. Basically a cartoon with human beings superimposed on it. All based on some good ideas with a great cast aswell - which makes me even more confused/sad.

Utter tripe. I'm sure I've been more disappointed in a movie before, but I can't currently remember when. What a shame after the (just) acceptable level of suspension of disbelief of the first movie comes this embarrassingly left-wing drivel. Dear oh dear.
