The action scenes in this movie are probably the worst I've ever seen and the gratuitous violence reaches whole new heights: You thought zombies being butchered was violent enough already? Now imagine a church full of all sorts of people being butchered like zombies. Completely appalling. I think of myself as someone with an average threshold of tolerance for violence. I've seen almost all of Tarantino's movies and I must say I really appreciate Tarantino now: although he does make extensive use of graphic violence, he still does it in a way that it's controlled and within a certain context. Vaughn has no control whatsoever. It's as if he's trying to be like Tarantino but clearly has no idea of what he's doing. All in all, extremely disappointed.

OK action film. For the bulk of film, I would have given it a three star. However, the end completely blew it for me--inappropriate. misogynistic--so the film gets a one star. Spoiler alert, the "hero" gets to bone a Swedish princess up the butt for his "heroics". The film ends showing her ass. Luckily, no more is disclosed, but enough is implied to spoil the civility and honor of the film and of being a Kingsmen, a modern "Knight of the Round Table. And, the director thought the ending was funny? Also the film was too graphically violent for my taste. So much for that.

I really didn't have high expectations for this movie but it was a dull night on television so I rented it. while it's not a great film it's not terrible. there is a certain sense of humor that runs through the movie that offsets the more graphic violence in some scenes. I think a lot of people are missing the point though. there is a certain amount of parody in this movie . It's a little longer than it needs to be but it's a fun time waster
