In Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, a breezy take on writer-director Shane Black's trademark buddy action/comedy oeuvre, a petty thief (Robert Downey Jr.) is brought to Los Angeles for an unlikely audition and finds himself in the middle of a murder investigation, along with his high school dream girl (Michelle Monaghan) and a detective (Val Kilmer) who has been training him for his upcoming role. Kinda had a film noir feel to it. Start focused because it plays like a novel. You can get lost easily or stop watching altogether.

Don't even bother reading reviews. Put this on immediately. Its a solid action comedy that was criminally under watched when it came out. One of the best post rehab RDJ pre Iron Man movies and last good Val Kilmer films(he needs to get back on it) I've seen in a while. Michelle Monaghan (Why isn't she in more stuff?) is also fantastic and can clearly be used in serious dramas along with physical comedy. So why am I still going on about this? watch it already.
