At the end of this film, the knight rides off into the distance, and we hope good things for him. However, this film is not a fable, it is multi-faceted, and sensuality and eroticism are not the villains of the piece. We see that 'I want a bit more, I want a bigger bit more...' can be ultimately degrading. Yet the yoga-style appreciation of the senses, and enjoying the moment without the desire to always add people to our collection, perhaps this is where our salvation lies.
