Plus, Kong himself is amazing. The same enduring traits are present and I found myself totally cheering him on. The parts that irritated me the most was the human factor. The jar head mentality, the us versus them and the sheer selfish nature of our supposed "human hero's" was so glaringly shoved in our face I felt angry and frustrated pretty much the entire movie. I think if they had done just a Kong versus the lizard things that would have been epic! Instead we have a disjointed story, that doesn't lead anywhere except to point out humans suck.

Mediocre would be a step from the dog turd that this movie turned out to be. The amalgamated talent that the writers ripped off from so many other talented writers is hilarious; Samuel L. Jackson's (Brando) Apocalypse Now, stranded pilot, too many count. The Screen Writers Guild should flog these dipshits in the middle Hollywood & Vine and carry a cross made of all the copies of the scripts to the valley to apologize to all the trees these A-holes insulted by putting word to paper.

I was expecting a better movie. The CGI screams "make it look like Jurassic park". The movie was a splice of Jurassic park and journey to the center of the earth. If you're the type of person easily occupied with flashy lights and dry plots and predictable stories this is your movie. Nothing like the first one. I couldn't watch it all in one sitting, it took me two days to finish. Kong was OK. The movie was just missing the mark over and over and over. It's not worth buying unless you are entertained easily by cheap thrills and landscapes. I could have done without waiting for this for two years if someone could have told me this earlier.
