Didn't have that King Kong feel. It started out like it was going to be great, I like the era that they decided to use. With Samuel L Jackson as the hero--what could go wrong I thought. Well, to me the movie seemed rushed. They're was really no plot at all, zero story to tell. It was like reading a book by skipping whole chapters.

There stars mainly due to feeling douped by Google. Pre-ordered Kong: Skull Island, & this bundle was not offered as a pre-order option. Would gladly had paid a few dollars more for the bundle. Moral of the story, Google support for these issues is limited at best, never pre-order, the better deals are always worth waiting for. Google is still my preferred provider of services.... I am a staunch supporter, unfortunately instances like this highlight the fact that there customer service has plenty of room to grow.

A different take on the Kong story, the filmmaker makes no attempt at hiding the main character behind fog and darkness. You get to see the mountain sized Kong up close and in broad daylight. The action scenes between monsters are also in the daylight. The story is compelling and the action will have you on the edge of your seat. Get excited because the teaser at the end ties the movie into another popular monster character's storyline.
