About this movie

When his dysfunctional family clashes over the holidays, young Max is disillusioned and turns his back on Christmas. Little does he know, this lack of festive spirit has unleashed the wrath of Krampus: a demonic force of ancient evil intent on punishing non-believers. All hell breaks loose as beloved holiday icons take on a monstrous life of their own, laying siege to the fractured family’s home and forcing them to fight for each other if they hope to survive. Featuring an ensemble cast that includes Adam Scott (TV’s Parks and Recreation), Toni Collette (Little Miss Sunshine), Allison Tolman (TV’s Fargo) and David Koechner (Anchorman). The film just didnt live up to the expectations of a horror. The story was awful, and the voice acting was cringeworthy to say the least. Ok, a Christmas horror doesn't sound too bad, but there was no depth to the storyline whatsoever. As for the voice acting, there wasnt a single point in the film where the actors showed true fear when faced with a life or death situation. The actors spoke in the same monotone voice throughout the film. I thought the film was a comedy slagging off horror films tbh.

Was ok apart from Lil parts that seemed to come from a kids dream. Gingerbread men is all I'm saying. Had potential but for me was wasted. Didn't know whether it was going be comedy to horror of what really.

....but it's like a film students project and a very bad one at that. Maybe watch it on available free channels to have a laugh....but if I would have paid for this I would have regretted it. It is so bad you might find it entertaining....with mates, pizza , herbs and lots of liquids.
