Par šo filmu

When his dysfunctional family clashes over the holidays, young Max is disillusioned and turns his back on Christmas. Little does he know, this lack of festive spirit has unleashed the wrath of Krampus: a demonic force of ancient evil intent on punishing non-believers. All hell breaks loose as beloved holiday icons take on a monstrous life of their own, laying siege to the fractured family’s home and forcing them to fight for each other if they hope to survive. Featuring an ensemble cast that includes Adam Scott (TV’s Parks and Recreation), Toni Collette (Little Miss Sunshine), Allison Tolman (TV’s Fargo) and David Koechner (Anchorman), this is a wonderfully dark and subversive "must-¬see film." –WEGOTTHISCOVERED.COM (Original Title - Krampus) - 2015 Universal Studios. The film is billed as a horror comedy, but it's light on any actual horror and light on comedy. The first 30 minutes lays the groundwork pretty well, and as soon as Krampus appears, there is a true sense of terror, as he glides from rooftop to rooftop in pursuit of a teenage girl scared out of her wits -- his presence accompanied by an eerie, wolf-like howl. That initial scene lead me to believe that the suspense would only rack up from there. Although the movie was intriguing enough to hold my interest all the way through, my expectations were ultimately let down, as Krampus' hokey minions seemed to undermine the dread rather than add to it. As for the comedy? They were on the right track with the "Looks like Martha Stewart threw up in here" line, but there was neither enough of this humorous dialogue, nor character interaction to set it up. A lot of my enjoyment came from maybe an hour or so in, as I found myself cheering for the family in their struggle against the legion of evil elves, toys and gingerbread men. The ending is a little open to interpretation. I wouldn't exactly say it's a movie that rewards the audience, but it's a decent romp nonetheless.

I started watching horror movies when I was ten. I'm sure I would have liked this then. I think it's a terrible idea to combine a family film with horror...it gets people's hopes up that it might actually be a black comedy. Instead Krampus couldn't decide if it was Silent Night, Deadly Night, or The Neverending Story. Ugh. And it started out so well...I thought it might be along the lines of the Black Christmas re-make. Nope. My bad for not noticing this confused mess was rated PG -13

Went into this movie with high hopes. Some of my favorite movies are Evil Dead 2, Tucker & Dale vs Evil, & Brain Dead/Dead Alive. Do yourself a favor and watch those movies instead, or go watch the director's other movie called Trick 'r Treat. This movie was boring, not scary, not funny, and worst of all it did not come close to following the ACTUAL Krampus legend.
