The tale of a Hollywood-bound actor called Lucky whose shoplifting is discovered by a local girl in a small, Midwestern town. When she forces him to take her along on the road trip, they spiral into an unpredictable ride of crime, love and abandonment.

I reserve my 5 star ratings for the films I really really REALLY like. I loved this. It's beautifully real, up front and explicit in its' exploration of love and survival. Lara Philips is superb throughout. One moment she is staggeringly beautiful; the next she is broken and hollow. She embodies everything our impulsive nature cannot resist. This is a great film.
