Goodchild, a young writer, lands back home in Sydney, to attend his ex-girlfriend's funeral. Soon, his past and present collide and Goodchild is cast on an existential journey through the hot Australian summer. Haunted by the twin ghosts of love and death Goodchild is pushed to his limit and to the edge of everything else.
