I will say this one is much better than the one before it. Anne is portrayed wonderfully, and Gilbert was a little more like book Gilbert. I do wish that they hadn't made Anne and Gilbert friends, though. If they were not friends, it would have made a little more sense for her not to want to be friends with him after he saved her. I also think that scene was too long and anticlimactic. However I did love the competition between Gilbert and Anne. Is it completely like the book? No. Is it still good? Yes.
