This was marketed wrong. Don't go in thinking this is a horror/thriller because it's really not that at all. I mean, look at the cover art, it just screams horror, like literally. However, about 90% of this film is just slow burn slice of life drama with a little bit of weirdness thrown in. I would say a good majority of people will be bored, like the first 20 minutes is just them living their lives on a farm. Which is disappointing as I feel like this had potential to do a lot more with it's unique premise. However it never quite does enough to really make you care about what is happening. The mystery is there but it's stretched so thin, which is surprising given the premise. This film, despite it's name, is not even really about the lamb/human hybrid child, it's more about a couple coping with loss. Even the characters reactions to first discovering the human/lamb hybrid child is less enthusiastic than how normal people would react. Like if I saw that pop out of a lamb I'd be freaking out as with most people. You don't get that. It's like, "oh that's strange, let's make it our kid now." There's also a weird side plot with the brother that just resolves without really going anywhere. Like this whole film seems to do everything in its power to avoid doing anything with the interesting setup it presents. In regards to the acting, music, and imagery, it's all generally good. And that's really what you'll get from this as the story is weak and thin and will end with you having questions. But yeah, I can't recommend this to most people. But, maybe you'll get more out of it than me.

I give a lot of respect to this movie for it's natural take of things. The location, animal behavior and the real life animal husbandry scenes. This isn't the typical scenes we see in movies. It feels weird and beautifully made. The CGI rendering of Ada looks very realistic and this movie does a good job of making you wonder about some events. Highly recommend this for a switch in our movie screening.

The tone and atmosphere of this movie is consistent from start to finish. It's original in concept that makes a bold underlying message about our own relationship with mother nature as a whole. I would not describe this movie as horror, but more of an enigma that has you waiting for more to slowly unfold. I find the ending is not pleasing with closure. It's not what you expect or want. I would not recommend this movie to most people.
