Land of the Lost is a fun bizzare adventurous ride. This movie is a hybrid of serious acting and cartoon-like aspects for a mature audience like family guy. The comedy is mediocre at best. Sure, There are some ridiculous moments, & the movie is stupid, but it's not mindless to hurt someone's brain (or is it). The movie may not be hilarious, but it is silly & has it's chuckles. The adventure that the characters are having is very interesting, imaginitive, & takes you right in there with them. some of the dialogue in this film does not make sense. The characters can be idiots at times but they are not to be taken seriously, because they are not annoying, & if they did all of the the correct things about how it should of went, the film would be somewhat of a fail & there would'nt be much "movie" there. The CGI effects went from incredible to well-done. The costumes & props are very top-notch. Michael Giacchino's score fits perfect for this film, but the score by itself (listening to it) is decent. This film does stay true to the classic 70's show, but it has more of a famous comedy cast in it. But again: it is not to be taken seriously. A solid rental.

So stupid its insulting but should have knowing with Will Ferrell! Even children can't watch it because of sexual suggestions. However, special effects were good. Not a movie one would want to watch a second time.

Ok, so it's a little different but holy **** I love this movie. Think Erik the Viking or Dr. Strangelove. So much is quotable and so many scenes are over the top ridiculously funny. Just give it 20mins and if you're from CO or WA....have a brownie.
