Written, directed and starring one of Hollywood's most popular stars, Tom Hanks, and featuring fellow A-Lister Julia Roberts, LARRY CROWNE is a rom-com match made in heaven. After losing his long term job Larry decides to start afresh and embarks on a college course where he gets taken under the wing of a group of students who drag him into the 21st Century. However, his new lifestyle doesn't stop just there as he meets a teacher Mercedes (Roberts), who he unexpectedly falls head over heels in love for.

Thoroughly enjoyed this comedy about a guy (ever-loveable Tom Hanks) who loses his job and decides to become a student. Julia Roberts is electrifying as always. What it lacks in pace is more than compensated for by the performances. Worth it for the very funny cameo by George Takei alone.

Optimistic feel good movie with some great laughs. Really enjoyed it!
