You know, the director of this movie wasn't happy with the results, and that just makes me disappointed we couldn't see the version that existed in his head, because THIS was great, so whatever he had in mind must've been incredible. Meta commentary on genre and whatnot has been done to death at this point, but this is one of the Ur examples, and done so well. Tonally, yes, it's all over the map, but the story carries it through and it's definitely a fun ride. Highly recommended.
