In acclaimed director Edgar Wright's psychological thriller, Eloise, an aspiring fashion designer, is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s where she encounters a dazzling wannabe singer, Sandie. But the glamour is not all it appears to be and the dreams of the past start to crack and splinter into something far darker.

This movie was very close to being five stars, Edgar Wright brings his visual style to a less comedic horror for the first time and it works great. Being a longtime fan of both thriller and horror films though, I see a lot of cliches sprinkled through the story as well as some clunky dialogue here and there. Don't let that dissuade you though, this is a quality film that deserves to be watched. Top notch performances from the two lead actors as well. Check it out.
