Picture this: a conference room at Pixar. Everyone is there, but that one guy who's always late for meetings. He finally ambles in - and the Division Director gives HIM the job of making a love story about volcanoes! Making this dumb Lava short was HIS punishment, yet it punished ALL of us!! Arrrgggghhhh!!

We saw this in the theater prior to Inside Out starting. The kids loved Lava as much as the movie we were there to see. It's nice to focus on something positive and escape the pervasive negativity in the mainstream media we so often see. Well worth the $$$ for this Pixar Short. Highly Recommend.

My favorite short by Pixar so far. The only complaint I have is that Disney has removed it from the extras on the app. I bought the blue-ray and digital copy to have with me as I travel a lot. Now the only way I can watch it is when I'm home and plug in the blue-ray. Or I can pay for it again. Love the film, not happy with Disney.
