Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) is a family man whose wife and daughter were brutally murdered during a home invasion. When the killers are caught, Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx), a hotshot young Philadelphia prosecutor, is assigned to the case. Against his will, Rice is forced to offer one of the suspects a light sentence in exchange for testifying against his accomplice. Fast forward ten years. The man who got away with murder is found dead and Shelton cooly admits his guilt. Then he issues a warning to Rice: either fix the flawed justice system, or key players in the trial will die. Soon Shelton follows through on his threats, orchestrating from his jail cell a string of spectacularly diabolical assassinations. Why is the ending so BS? So almost an amazing film but the end made me want to punch myself in the face. For me the end was such a let down it ruins the whole movie so very much.

Don't let the price or the year it was made in fools you. It is absolutely an awesome movie. It's thrilling, touching and it leaves you with some thoughts after watching. Worth watching, very worth watching.

Really enjoyed the action and the level of acting was superb from the two leads. The movie takes you places you don't expect to go.
