Fashion designer Marian (Melissa Gilbert) meets the man of her dreams, dashing lawyer Edward Moran (Joe Penny). Their attraction is instant, but after the lovebirds get married, Marian makes a shocking discovery about her in-laws: They're in the Mafia, and that includes her dear husband, Edward.
