Sean Connery stars as Allan Quatermain, the world's greatest adventurer, who leads a legion of superheroes the likes of which the world has never seen! Quatermain's league of extraordinary gentlemen (comprised of secret service agent Tom Sawyer, vampire Mina Harker, Captain Nemo, Jekyll & Hyde, the Invisible Man and Treacherous Dorian Gray) is pitted against arch villain Moriarty, who's intent on starting the next world war.

Stupid and soulless. The source material (great comic) is turned into a farce, with obligatory American characters and dumbing down of everything. This is the film that made Sean Connery stop acting in movies. It's that bad.

To take such a great comic and butcher it like this should be a crime. Save your money and go watch the "Penny Dreadful" series instead.

Ok its kinda of cheesy but so bad its good. Too bad it was the last movie of Sean Connery
