About this movie

In Texas, years before the events of the Texas Chain Saw Massacre, in the early days of the infamous Sawyer family, the youngest child is sentenced to a mental hospital after a suspicious incident leaves the sheriffs’ daughter dead. Ten years later, he kidnaps a young nurse and escapes with 3 other inmates. Pursued by authorities including the deranged sheriff out to avenge his daughter’s death, the young Sawyer teen goes on a violent road trip from hell, molding him into the monster known now as Leatherface.

Excellent horror movie, ignore the negative reviews. Of course it's not like the original, no other film can possibly match that but it's got a decent plot, great acting, brutal, horrific kill's and plenty of tension. There's also no humour whatsoever and for that I'm eternally grateful, there's too many horror "comedies" around for my liking these days. I just want a scary, nasty, horror movie, and that's exactly what I got. Highly recommended.

It's ok overall . They certainly pack alot into 90 mins! However, if you've seen the original Texas chainsaw and the more recent films from the franchise over the last 10+ years, I don't feel this film fits in at all.

As a stand alone movie this is fantastic. Well acted, good plot, brutal and suspenseful. I am so pleased that I ignored the negative reviews - This is a must-see for horror fans :)
